On a Calm Meditation Course you will be given expert guidance in a small group and, because I have been through the same teaching as you will receive before going on to qualify as a meditation teacher, I can provide you with plenty of real life examples and help you to relate the teaching to your own experiences.
Because I keep the group numbers small, you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get some direct feedback. You will learn the life-changing insights that sit at the heart of these meditation techniques and will have the opportunity to meditate for short periods of time with the group. You will also learn how to use Mind Calm or Body Calm Meditation with your eyes open so you can experience the benefits throughout your day.
Please note, this is not talking therapy or counselling, so there is absolutely no obligation to share any personal information with the group. What you choose to share, or not share, is entirely up to you. The group environment is supportive and many find it comforting and reassuring to connect with others in similar situations or facing similar issues in life as they learn to meditate.
The courses are suitable for absolute beginners wanting to learn to meditate and also experienced meditators looking to deepen their experience.
The Mind Calm courses are usually a four week course, once a week over a four week period. So there’s no need to commit to months of training as I want you to start experiencing the benefits as soon as possible! Each session is about two hours long and they are held on a midweek evening. Occasionally there are also one day courses available on a Saturday or two half days on two consecutive Saturdays.
Once you have completed Mind Calm you can opt to come on a Body Calm course which is also a four week course, once a week over a four week period. Again, each session is about two hours long and they are held on a midweek evening. Again, occasionally there are also one day courses available on a Saturday or two half days on two consecutive Saturdays.
Body Calm Courses are currently available to anyone who has completed a Mind Calm Course with me. This is because a calm body starts with a calm mind and it is hugely beneficial to have completed Mind Calm first.
